Expansion of social justice with respect to ethnic and religious diversity
The Minister of Interior emphasized that the new government, with a justice-oriented approach, has paid special attention to all ethnic groups and religions, and for the first time, governors from ethnic and religious minorities have been appointed in various regions of the country to better represent Iran’s cultural diversity.
Focus on women’s capabilities in key responsibilities
Another key program of the Ministry of Interior is the focus on empowering women and employing them in executive positions such as governorships. The Minister of Interior announced that this approach will continue in the future and will pave the way for a broader presence of women in managerial fields.
Increasing governors’ powers and emphasis on provincial autonomy
With the president’s approval, the powers of the governors have been increased so they can more effectively address their regional issues and challenges without needing extensive coordination with the central government.
Focus on border security and migration management
In terms of security, the Ministry of Interior has taken serious actions to organize the situation of migrants and strengthen border security. Additionally, the construction of eastern border walls has begun, and smart surveillance of the borders has been enhanced.
Development of renewable energies and sustainable resource management
In line with reducing dependency on fossil fuels and focusing on environmental protection, extensive investments have been made to develop solar power plants. These projects are progressing in various regions of the country and are evaluated as part of efforts to achieve sustainable development.
Pursuing unresolved projects and strengthening transportation infrastructure
The Ministry of Interior plans to activate halted projects with high economic value. Significant budgets have also been allocated for equipping and modernizing the public transportation fleet.
Facilitation for the private sector and strengthening engagement with elites
With designated days for addressing private sector issues and close interaction with the elite community, the Ministry of Interior aims to remove barriers to economic and cultural development at the national level.
Electronic issuance of certificates to facilitate registry services
To reduce the need for in-person visits and improve the efficiency of services, the issuance of birth certificates and other registry documents is being done electronically, which enhances the speed and access to services
